College Board

Designing a scalable digital system across a multi-product ecosystem.

College Board needed to modernize its digital presence while supporting millions of users across multiple products, including CollegeBoard.org and BigFuture.

I led the design of a unified system that aligned brand, navigation, and product experiences—transforming a fragmented ecosystem into a scalable, cohesive platform.

Role: Senior Product Designer, end-to-end ownership.

The Problem

The existing experience suffered from:

  • Inconsistent visual and interaction patterns across products

  • Complex navigation and content hierarchy

  • Lack of a scalable design system

  • Difficulty maintaining consistency across teams

This resulted in:

  • User confusion across journeys

  • Slower product iteration

  • Increased design and engineering overhead
